George Clooney Arrives in Venice for Film Fest; "Gravity" Released in Venice Film Festival

Trailed by paparazzi as his taxi boat docked at the Hotel Cipriani, George Clooney arrived in Venice for the 70th annual film festival, where his new movie "Gravity" -- co-starring Sandra Bullock -- is showing out of competition.


Gravity is a techno-thriller film starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as surviving astronauts in a damaged space shuttle. Gravity co-written, co-produced, co-edited and directed by Alfonso Cuarón.

The film was released today in Venice, Italy, and is scheduled for release in the United States on Octorber 3, 2013.

The film will also be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on October 4, 2013 in the United States.
