A prosecutor gets in legal hot water when she can't help  but talk to a juror, Tom Hanks. A prosecutor from the city attorney's office thanked Tom Hanks for taking time to be a juror while they were on an elevator. That's misconduct because prosecutors can't talk to jurors outside of the courtroom. The defense lawyer complained about the misconduct, and the defendant, who was facing a possible one-year sentence was cleared.
